Why Voltex, And What The Warranty Means For You
Why the licensed install matters: Voltex's warranty is only valid when the product is installed to the manufacturer's instructions by a licensed electrician. We are that licensed installer, so the manufacturer's warranty passes on to you. If a product fails under warranty, Voltex also contributes to the installing electrician's labour to put it right, which Voltex calls Zero Risk. Warranty length varies by product and is shown on each product's listing. See the Voltex warranty terms.
The warranty on each product below is as shown on its Voltex listing: 25 years on Voltex's lifetime range (most power points, switches, weatherproof outlets and switchboards), 7 years on many lights, fans, USB outlets and smoke alarms. All of it depends on a licensed install, which is what we do.

It is better ducted to the outside, so the moisture leaves the house rather than sitting in the ceiling space.
What is the difference between an RCD and an RCBO?
An RCD is a safety switch that can cover several circuits. An RCBO is a safety switch and a circuit breaker in one, for one circuit, so a fault only turns off that circuit.

Why does the warranty need a licensed electrician?
Voltex's warranty is only valid when the product is installed to the manufacturer's instructions by a licensed electrician. That is us, so the warranty passes to you.
How much do Voltex products cost installed?
It depends on the products and the job. Add them to your list and ask for a quote. We quote on site for free in town, and the quote is the price.
