Three ways to go solar. From cutting your bill on a standard grid-connect system through to running fully independent of the grid. We design and install each stage ourselves.
Grid-Connect
The most common setup. Panels feed the switchboard through the inverter. Surplus power exports to the grid, cutting your bill.
Grid-Connect + Battery
Same grid connection, plus a battery that stores what you don't use. Power through outages and evening use, still backed by the grid. Battery is a separate SAA endorsement we do not currently hold.
Off-Grid & Battery
Off-grid and battery are separate SAA accreditation classes and we are working toward them. Demand is what sets the timing. Today we hold Grid Connected Photovoltaic Systems, Design & Install; smaller stand-alone work is assessed case by case. Tell us what you need. Battery and off-grid are separate endorsements we do not hold, and we say so rather than quote for them.
You do not have to take our word for it. Solar Accreditation Australia publishes a free accreditation status check. Search Sawtell and you will see the accreditation, its class and its expiry date. We would rather you checked. Ask any installer for the same.
Do you install residential or commercial systems?
We focus primarily on commercial and industrial projects. Offering tailored systems for motels, councils, workshops, and facilities, and we also design domestic systems.
Do you install battery storage?
